Jake Hesselgrave is a Mixed Martial Artist from Poway, California. Hesselgrave began his training in Martial Arts in 2006. Since then, he has trained and fought (1-0) Pro Muay Thai out of Sidytong in Pattaya Thailand.
In 2009, Jake trained Judo at Kodokan and Tokai University in Tokyo Japan, and was promoted to 1st degree black belt under Jin Izumi. He has also trained and fought (2-0) Pro Muay Thai out of the Samart Payakaroon Gym in Bangkok Thailand.
While Jake trained MMA in Brazil at Team Nogueira Rio, he also coached Muay Thai and held pads for Anderson Silva, Rogerio Nogueria, Rogdrigo Nogueria, Patricio and Patriky Pitbull, Erik Silva and other lesser known Brazilian fighters.
From 2012 through 2016, Jake has competed in Muay thai, MMA, and Submission Grappling. He currently holds the MMA record of (2-2) and Muay Thai Record of (5-1). While Jake actively competes regularly, he has dedicated his time as a full-time MMA coach; specializing in Muay Thai and MMA training at Coastal Combat.
